The 2021 GBAC is shaping up to be like no other, and we thank those of you who have submitted presentations. We would like to extend the deadline to Monday, August 23, to allow for more time and submissions before we finalize our arrangements with the Flamingo.
We recognize that some of you may have concerns about the current pandemic situation. While Las Vegas is surely a melting pot, the number of cases is currently declining, down 23% as of today in Clark County, and the recent spike has been subtle compared to many parts of the country. The City of Las Vegas has taken the health and safety of its visitors seriously, and the major resorts have unified their efforts in this regard. We will also be recording presentations (and taking pre-recorded presentations) for access to registrants after the conference is over. We are unfortunately not able to offer a real-time virtual option. If you are not yet sure you would like to attend, you can make that decision at a later time, but we would greatly appreciate your registration. Early registration is due Tuesday, September 14.
